EZSmiles 2021.02 brings three improvements to Contactless Check-In/Out:
. We've removed the "Undo" button from the parent Check-in/Out screen to prevent parents from checking children in and then removing the check-in by mistake.
. New in-app messaging will display when Check-in/Out information is saved and viewable on all devices.
. The message to parents outside of a center’s geo-fence now will provide information on how close they need to be to that center to use Contactless Check-in.

EZSmiles 2021.01 brings a major improvement to its Contactless Check-in feature:
. Parents will be prompted to allow the EZSmiles app to access their location via their mobile devices.
. When a parent is within a set distance of the site address entered into EZCare, the Check-In/ Check-Out button will be enabled, allowing them to check children in and out.
This new feature works in conjunction with the integrated EZCare child care management software’s Contactless Check-In settings.

EZSmiles 2020.05 consists of two important corrections, and bug fixes:
. Special characters, !@#$%^&*()_+ , appear on the message wall as expected.
. We've improved the automatic check-out process so it's more efficient
. EZSmiles was timing out and presenting a 403 Error when the device was not used for an extended period. We’ve fixed that!
. After a "Quadruple Click"(In, Out, In, Out), the Attendance Screen will display the accurate attendance status of each child.
version 1.4.2

EZSmiles 2020.04 consists of a handful of bug fixes, along with two important corrections:
. The Take Attendance button will be available for all organizations who use EZSmiles to track attendance.
. Staff members are required to register in the EZSmiles app before being able to log into the app to send messages to their classes.
version 1.4.1

Included in this release:
. When parents view their children and classes in the My Information screen, they only see the child’s current schedule and teachers, not schedule information from the past.
. Parents won't be able to see the Check-In/ Out button to record attendance if you've disabled it (or if you never enabled it).
version 1.4
posted on 2020-09-21
Announcing the release of EZSmiles Contactless Check-In, a new feature allowing parents to check children in and out of their childcare and school facilities right from their smartphones. Staff and administrators can view, sort, and filter the check-in and attendance data by class, site, child, or time. This attendance data is recorded in real time in EZCare.
Also included:
. New Bottle Messages Daily Logs!
. Spanish language translation for both Bottle Messages and Contactless Check-In
version 1.3.1
posted on 2020-02-06
This version of EZSmiles offers corrections of the following defects:
. We’ve resolved an issue where EZSmiles was allowing messages to be sent to Inactive children whose schedule tabs reflected a current class.
. In Classroom Attendance, users can scroll through all pages of active students assigned to a class.
. EZSmiles was reporting time to EZCare using the EST time zone instead of the local time zone of an organization. This has been corrected.
version 1.3.0
posted on 2019-10-16
Staff members can now queue Daily Log messages and schedule them to be sent once a day. This means parents receive one push notification with all of these messages just one time instead of being pinged constantly throughout the day with snack and potty updates that can wait until later.
Also included:
. Errors when sending Smiles messages with pictures and large boxes of text have been resolved.
. Messages can only be sent to families of children with Active status in EZCare.
version 1.2.4
posted on 2019-08-15
We resolved an issue preventing some users from logging into EZSmiles.
